Our Quality Standards
We refrain from making medicinal efficacy claims for any of our herbal extracts, but we certainly claim the highest quality and hygiene standards.
We closely follow the guidelines of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), the gold standard for pharmaceutical and botanical testing in the United States. To ensure full adherence to the standards of this leading professional body, we implement a layered testing protocol.
We first test our products in-house. This ensures that on any issue, we can react immediately.
Our products are then tested by independent labs in Southeast Asia.
The final round of testing happens in the U.S. in coordination with wholesale buyers. To guarantee lab neutrality, the lab is chosen by the wholesale buyer.
A Real-World Example: Tongkat Ali Extract, Lot #681210
See below the results of a lab testing cycle conducted in May–June 2026 in California. The sample — PE Tongkat Ali (KG), 50g pack, Lot #681210 — was received on May 15, 2026 and analyzed by Certified Laboratories (3125 N. Damon Way, Burbank, CA 91505), a full-service laboratory established in 1926 and accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (Cert No. 3034.03). The report (No. 2979280) was issued on June 12, 2026, signed by both the Vice President of Quality Assurance and the Vice President of Operations.
Testing was performed according to Modified USP <61> (Microbiological Examination of Nonsterile Products: Microbial Enumeration Tests) and Modified USP <62> (Microbiological Examination of Nonsterile Products: Tests for Specified Microorganisms) — the very methods referenced in the Pharmacopeia itself.
The Results Speak for Themselves
Every single parameter came back well within — and in most cases far below — the specification limits:
| Test | Result | Specification | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total Plate Count | 1,460 CFU/g | <10,000 CFU/g | ~85% below limit |
| Total Mold Count | <10 CFU/g | <1,000 CFU/g | >99% below limit |
| Total Yeast Count | <10 CFU/g | <1,000 CFU/g | >99% below limit |
| Bile-Tolerant Gram-Negative Bacteria | <10 /g | 10–100 /g | Below detection threshold |
| E. coli | Absent | Absent | |
| Salmonella | Absent | Absent | |
| P. aeruginosa | Absent | Absent | |
| S. aureus | Absent | Absent |
There were zero out-of-specification results. The total aerobic microbial count of 1,460 CFU/g is remarkably low for botanical material — a strong indicator of careful sourcing, proper drying, and hygienic handling throughout the supply chain. Mold and yeast levels were essentially at the limit of detection (<10 CFU/g), and all four specified pathogens were completely absent.
What This Means for Customers
This CoA is the result of a testing cycle commissioned by a wholesale buyer, performed by an independent, ISO-accredited U.S. laboratory of the buyer's choosing.
When a batch of any of our extracts arrives at its destination, a customer can expect the same level of microbiological integrity.
Our results proudly comply with — and in most cases significantly exceed — even the strictest quality parameters.
